Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2-3 jalapeño slices (more or less depending on desired spice level)
  • Pineapple wedge and jalapeño slice for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or Tajín for rimming the glass (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: If you'd like a salted or Tajín rim, run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into salt or Tajín. Set the glass aside.
  2. Muddle the Jalapeño: In a cocktail shaker, add the jalapeño slices and lightly muddle them to release their heat and flavor.
  3. Mix the Cocktail: Add the tequila, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, triple sec, and agave syrup to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake well for about 10-15 seconds.
  4. Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Garnish: Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a jalapeño slice for a vibrant, tropical presentation.
  6. Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet, spicy, and refreshing flavors of your Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita!

Notes

Tips:

  • Adjust the spice level by using more or fewer jalapeño slices, or by leaving the seeds in for extra heat.
  • For a sweeter version, add more pineapple juice or agave syrup.
  • You can also experiment with flavored salts or Tajín for a more exciting rim.
