- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda

- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon

- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined (avoid overmixing).
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
- Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon sugar into the batter gently.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the top starts to brown too quickly, cover it with foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled banana bread.
